Cape Grace

Cape Grace is situated on its own private quay in the V&A Waterfront and is encircled by Table Mountain, the yacht marina, a working harbour and the lively V&A Waterfront itself. The hotel’s gleaming glass front doors first opened in 1996 and it is a posh abode of plush carpets, classic décor and hand-made service.

The stylish interiors of the 120 luxurious rooms at Cape Grace have been inspired by Cape Town’s heritage and abundant floral kingdom. The view from your French windows is either the millionaire’s yacht marina or the bustling working harbour. Guests in selected suites can enjoy their breakfast on a private balcony while other suites boast a separate lounge or fully equipped kitchen area.

Cape Grace offers various dining facilities, including Signal Restaurant which enjoys beautiful views of Signal Hill. The Bascule Bar overlooking the yacht marina imitates the inside of a yacht cabin and has over 400 international whiskies on offer and the finest South African wines and tapas.

It’s the small touches like having your shoes shined overnight, fresh flowers and personally selected books in your room and activities like gingerbread decorating and African story time offered especially for kids that make Cape Grace a home from home.
