Queen Victoria Hotel

Queen Victoria Hotel

The marbled entrance to the Queen Victoria Hotel in the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront already exudes a sense of luxurious style that is the hallmark of this boutique hotel. Situated within a precinct of heritage buildings along Portswood Road, leading into the Waterfront, the Queen Victoria Hotel has a unique position in a secluded enclave that overlooks Table Mountian, the City Bowl, Cape Town Harbour and the Atlantic Ocean while the hustle and bustle of the Waterfront is around the corner, yet worlds away.

The 35 luxurious rooms and suites emanate a world-class sophistication and the Queen Victoria Hotel manages to fuse this international flair with local flavor. The presidential suite has been equipped with a large terrace for al fresco entertaining. Guests can enjoy effortless admission to the finest of Newmark Hotels’ portfolio, including the Urban Beauty Spa and pool at Dock House Boutique Hotel and dining at the Victoria & Alfred Hotel’s gourmet OYO Restaurant and Cocktail Bar.

The intimate and extremely sophisticated 36-seater Dash restaurant, located within the Queen Victoria Hotel and named after the Queen’s favourite pet, offers a menu focusing on the unique flavours of each ingredient and that are sourced locally. Except for the caviar, that is.

The staff is dedicated to making each guest feel like royalty and your stay at the Queen Victoria Hotel might just redefine your idea of five-star luxury.

Guestbook Reviews

We enjoyed 4 days last month in this world class city. Our travel agent booked us into the Queen Victoria Hotel and we found it to be ideal. The location is excellent...just a few minutes’ walk to the Waterfront...and we could see both the waterfront and Table Mountain from our balcony.
